Delilah
April 8, 2004 - October 1, 2011
New Sage J Walkin' at WindPt, CGC, TDI, HOF, PE, OFA
(Ch. New Sage Ensign C R Stoan X New Sage Disco Dis Way)

Delilah was so special to me, she was my heart.  She was my first show dog, the foundation of my kennel, and my best friend.  Delilah was diagnosed with bone cancer in her left rear leg December 19th, 2010.  In March 2011, we amputated that leg to take the pain away and hopefully to give her a longer life.  In June 2011, she was diagnosed with a second bone tumor in her front right leg.  After a nine and a half month battle, she lost her fight and we made the heartbreaking decision to help her pass over the rainbow bridge.  Our house and hearts are emtpy without her.  She made her mark in the breed, and she made my heart whole.  She melted the hearts of anyone she met, she had a boistrus personality, a gentle nature, and had the most soulful eyes.  She made me laugh on a daily basis and our kennel will never be the same.  Words cannot possibly explain the pain I feel with her passing.

Though your body is gone, your spirit lives on and you are in my heart always sweet Lilah-Face......I know you are running on all fours again!

Zeus
January 11, 2001 - December 14, 2010

Zeus was my first Saint Bernard.  I adopted him from Wisconsin St. Bernard Rescue when he was 11 months old.  Poor Zeus had a multitude of problems in his last couple of years of life.  He had severe arthritis and joint pain, dysplasia, metabolic problems, and possibly a brain tumor.  That tragic night, Zeus was found in a state of convulsions, unconscious, and unresponsive.  We knew it was time to help him cross over the rainbow bridge and to end his suffering.  He was the start of it all....from him stemmed our addiction for this wonderful breed.  He passed just one month shy of turning ten years old.  His bond with Zena, led us to believe that his condition would deteriorate rapidly after her passing only one month before.  He passed on the same calendar day as Zena.....I'm sure she was waiting anxiously for him on the other side of the bridge.

Until we are together again....keep each other company my babies.

Zena
March 21, 2002 - November 14, 2010

Zena was a special girl here at Wind Point Kennel. She was our second St. Bernard.  We purchased her as a pet out of the newspaper as a 6 week old puppy.   Her life hasn't been easy. At just 9 months of age, she had both her dysplastic hips surgically corrected, yet never regained 100% strength back.  As a young adult, she had a torn ACL surgically corrected.  She became very arthritic as the years went on and although she was always in good spirits, her body continued to decline.  Zena was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in the fall of 2010 and lost her fight soon after.  We made the hardest decision to send her over the Rainbow Birdge to end her suffering.  To this day, she remains one of the driving forces in our kennel to produce structurally sound St. Bernards.

Rest in Peace my Princess

WindPt's Emerson
(Ch. Berkut Van Rijn X New Sage J Walkin' at WindPt)

April 21, 2007 - January 18, 2008

Emerson was only 9 months old when he went missing while staying with friends down in Cary, IL in January of 2008. We searched non-stop to find him but with no success. We were able to follow his tracks down to the Fox river that runs through the town and after countless months of searching for him, our fear is that he may have fallen into the river beneath the ice. We have stretched our search efforts all over the state of Illinois and into southeastern WI with no sightings of him. We will never give up total hope on findng Emerson, but the evidence and our hearts tell us that he has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.

We will never forget you...Mr. Naughty.
